Last month the Robocop 2014 movie started to hit theaters. While it’s been popular, there are some other movies (The LEGO Movie) that have absolutely been crushing it in the box office. Since the movie is out already we should be able to pre-order Threezero’s upcoming 1/6 scale figures based on the movie very soon. […]

Threezero Reveals Robocop EM-208 Sixth Scale Figure Prototype
At NY Toy Fair, Kotobukiya showed a picture in their display of the prototype for ARTFX Wonder Woman. Even though there was no actual figure there, it was nice to see a glimpse of the next statue in their DC line. Today on their official Facebook page, Koto shared a better picture of the same prototype.
Sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto, Wonder Woman wears her traditional costume with an additional skirt and cape over it. I’m just going to say it right now; I think she’s going to look better than Bishoujo Wonder Woman. While it’s true that she could look different when she finally comes out, the sculpt is really winning me over.

I will admit it: Kaiju figures and USB drives were a combination that I hadn't considered. But when the Kickstarter campaign for Kaiju USB: GODAI Guardians was brought to my attention, I realized that it was a match made in heaven. The concept of decorative, collectable USB drives isn't new (just look at Mimoco) but GODAI Guardians pushes it a step further. The USB drives are molded into four different kaiju figures, Chi, Sui, Ka, and Fu, each with its own personality matching the element the represent (earth, water, fire, and wind, respectively). One of the stretch goals even sets these creatures in a graphic novel. The USB drives themselves are more cuddly-looking than intimidating, presenting the monsters in chibi-fied forms. If you want more regal beasts, you can pledge US$240 and get four 18 by 24-inch art posters of each of the guardians along with a complete set of 18 gigabyte GODAI Guardians USB drives and a personal thank-you Skype call from the team. The drives are also available in 8 gigabyte sizes at other pledge levels.
At press time, the Kickstarter has 25 days to left with a deadline of Wednesday, April 2. Currently, US$3,397 of the US$25,000 needed has been pledged. I know I am particularly excited about this one! What say you, dear readers?
