I've had my share of words regarding the upcoming release of Play Arts Kai Quiet. With two new shots released courtesy of Hideo Kojima's Twitter, we can once upon gaze on the tranquil nature of Quiet. This time, let's just focus on the figure.
It's honestly not looking too good, and that's mostly due to design. The figure itself is fundamentally sound. The joints blend nicely into the figure and aren't as distracting as the early Play Arts figures. However, the design just doesn't speak to me in its current state. Now, if the rumors of the active skin camo turn out, this could be an amazing figure for variants. Its current normal state isn't that interesting to me. Her face has a real stoicism to it, but the figure reminds me of the actress that played Nina on 24, which is funny since Kiefer Sutherland is now playing Snake.
In any case, the more I see of Quiet, the more I'm entrenched into my original position. However, if there is an actual point to this design as hinted at, this might become a great figure when it comes to variants.
