I don’t usually go down the regular toy road: avoiding the brands we already know and own keeps things more fresh and interesting around here. However. Once in awhile something grabs my attention and won’t let go. Today that something is Lego Mixels. They’re like anime characters and paper toys and blind box art toy […]

My Childhood Days
As a child I was completely showered with attention and pampered silly by all the members of my joint family. I had a sheltered childhood full of compassion and love...the faith that was bestowed upon me as a child later gave me confidence to carve a niche in whatever I tried to be or do, be it an entrepreneur, a mother or a multitasked individual.
Shifting from cities like Delhi and Bangalore to Jaipur was a completely different experience. I had to always pick up stuff for my kids when I visited Delhi as there were not too many options for kids stuff out here in Jaipur and therefore I saw this as a huge market to explore for kids products.
Birth Of Tiny Tickle Trunk
The inception of Tiny Tickle Trunk happened when my kids were presented with some beautifully customized and personalized gifts which caught my eye and it gave me an idea of making it more accessible and innovative for all mothers with my own ideas and something different to offer. And so the journey began. We derived the name Tiny Tickle Trunk from the thought that it is a trunk filled with all sorts of goodies for kids!
Being a communication personnel and coming from an entirely different background what kept me going was the experience, exposure and most importantly the appreciation received from mothers, from the time Tiny Tickle Trunk has been launched. It has been extremely overwhelming and has encouraged me to keep innovating and introducing new and interesting products in the market.
Started with a small idea, in a span of 6 months it has shaped up into a great concept and Tiny Tickle Trunk’s journey has just begun…we are still at a very nascent stage and there is still loads to be achieved.
Life as an Entrepreneur - Tiny Tickle Trunk
At Tiny Tickle Trunk, we ensure that all our products are best in quality with competitive pricing and latest styles, which we do with consistent innovation. Another thing that we always keep in mind is that apart from the products being attractive, they are also practically viable in terms utility. We offer this along with an added feature of customization and personalization as per customer requirement, keeping in mind the interest and age of the child. We do a lot of birthday return gift orders based on each client’s theme.
We offer an extensive range of kids’ accessories; table mats, a variety of bags, duffle’s, and trolleys, book covers, and folders, variety of organizers, cushions, aprons, and towel. With over 100 products in offering… the list is only growing.
Challenges I faced
I attribute any professional and personal success I've had to grit. Whether because of life circumstances or constitutional makeup, any success in my life has not been merely or primarily because of luck or talent, but mainly from will and perseverance, especially while setting up a business of my own when I was so used to be getting a salary back home end of the month!
Things have not been easy for me trying to capture multiple markets simultaneously...establishing myself in Jaipur and at the same time trying to capture Gurgaon / Delhi and NCR markets with no business background. From leaving home early morning 5 a.m. to board a train from Jaipur to Delhi for an exhibition, landing up straight at the exhibition, setting up and being their standing all through in the freezing cold weather from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and then leaving from Delhi to take a train back at 5 a.m. in the morning for Jaipur....just to ensure that I'm back home before my kids wake up and so
I could be with my family on a Sunday.
The ability to work towards a goal no matter how hard it was or how long it took is my key. With its own challenges, I have been able to sustain, as my mom says, take each wrong decision as an experience so you get stronger to face the next day. Family has been my pillar of support, especially my husband and my kids my motivation. Really happy to pursue what I enjoy most with a focused approach!
So, be confident, be focused and follow your dreams…rest all falls in place…that’s my mantra!

Samurai Girls certainly makes for some good PVC fodder, thanks to some surprisingly top notch art direction for an ecchi series. The show's got a great, memorable art style, and we've seen no shortage of figures popping up on a regular basis. The lilac-haired Naoe Kanetsugu seems to be one of the most popular products, and Penguin Parade's bringing us yet another of the hammer-wielding cutie in August.
She's only 1/8-scale, but you'll be getting a sizable figure nonetheless thanks to her omnipresent enormous hammer, an accessory that adds quite a bit of detail to the package. Naoe herself looks great of course, sporting a feisty smile some lovely cherry blossom-patterned stockings. Suitable for the show, she's also castoffable, letting you get a look at the goods beneath that uniform should you be so interested. Surprisingly, the hammer doesn't ramp up the cost too much, and you'll be able to grab her for about ¥9,500.
