DC Collectibles May 2014 Solicits - Earth 2, Infinite Crisis, and More
Klei Entertainment has partnered with New York toy designer, Erick Scarecrow to create collectible toys for their games, Don’t Starve and Mark of the Ninja. Now they’ve also decided to make a store website so fans can find and buy these toys straight from them. So far only two items are available; Don’t Starve blind box figures and a limited edition Mark of the Ninja statue.
During their successful Kickstarter campaign to fund a plush of Chester from Don’t Starve, the blind box figure series was advertised as a reward for people who donated US$75 or more. As much as I wanted a plush of Chester and these figures, that price was a little much for me. Well, now these figures are available on their website for US$12.99 each.
This blind box series will feature 12 different figures from the game: Wilson, Willow, Wendy, Wolfgang, Wes, Wickerbottom, WX-78, Woodie, Pigman, Chester, Spider, and a mystery figure. Each figure will measure close to four inches tall, have posable arms and come with two accessories; the character’s unique accessory and a random accessory. I love this game and this series looks amazing, so I think I need one of these.
Also available on Klei’s website is a highly detailed vinyl statue from Mark of the Ninja of the main character. This limited edition figure comes with a base and measures eight inches tall. Non-articulated, he also comes with three interchangeable magnetic heads; classic, stealth mask, and oni mask. You can buy this Mark of the Ninja statue for US$49.99.
