Tomopop Review: S.H. Figuarts Sailor Mars
Last time on Figuarts Sailor Moon Theatre, we took a look at S.H. Figuarts Sailor Mercury and declared she was pretty darn good. This time, we have the latest release from that series, S.H. Figuarts Sailor Mars. Of the five Sailor Senshi, I'll have to admit Mars is the one I had the least interest in growing up, perhaps because of her fiery personality. Still, I couldn't turn down the chance to have her alongside the two other Senshi, right?
So does Mars stack up with the previous releases? Hit the jump and find out!

Episode IV.V: A Newer Hope
It was a period of great excitement and financial anguish. The mighty Japanese toy companies have gathered in one place in a full show of their collectible might. Prominent anime, video games, and movie figures are on display. However, turmoil is about to break.
Western media has slowly encroached into these Japanese toylines, with Marvel characters taking key positions in the figma and S.H. Figuarts line. Iron Man is everywhere. A delicate balance has been established between the East and West, one that is soon to be disrupted by another major addition to Medicom Toys' American film-themed MAFEX line in the form of one of the biggest franchises of them all: Star Wars.
The iconic scifi, quasi-religious franchise's name (Jedi is a recognized religious affiliation in the U.K., or so the legend goes) appeared on a MAFEX placard marked with, "Coming soon". Medicom Toys is no stranger to the Star Wars franchise, as it's produced larger figures in the past (and no doubt that license carried over to these new offerings), but a 6-inch scale Star Wars line is still something of a significant move especially since it puts Medicom's offerings into slight competition against Hasbro's 6-inch Star Wars Black Series. Given that the Black Series hasn't been without its problems, MAFEX may prove an interesting alternative if they can nail down the quality and deliver on solid representations of the more iconic Star Wars characters. The MAFEX line may be one spectacular Boba Fett away from achieving a permanent iconic status within the collectible community.

Wonder Festival 2014 Winter: AGP
The Bandai Armour Girls Project section was also promoted at Wonder Festival, but after finishing their release of the <IS> Infinite Stratos girls, one would probably be wondering what there is left? Well, aside from looking back at their past releases, they did give a brief glimpse of their future plans.
They're still continuing with the Infinite Stratos line as the next release will be Yamada-Sensei with a recoloured Rafael Revive. I guess that's something to tie people over until the next original release, which is likely to be Sarashiki Tatenashi and Mysterious Lady.
Elsewhere, Bandai also showed off what will be the last of the D-Arts line before it all gets merged together with the S.H Figuarts line. Alisa and Noel Vermillion were on show and should be with prospective buyers soon.
Elsewhere, the next big AGP release was shown to be *sigh* what else? Kantai Collection... Actually KanColle is a pretty good fit for the AGP line, but that doesn't mean that I'm OK with the ridiculous number of releases shown at Wonder Festival...
