I hope you'll join me tonight for the first episode in my new livestream series about DIY toys. I’ll be customizing toys live and taking you through my process as we go along. Watch as I work through the many DIY figures out there and hopefully learn more about how to make customs.

My Childhood
Like most other children, arts, crafts, and music filled my childhood as well. Every day was an exciting adventure of creation. I use to love pursuing my hobby and creating something new each day. It was my childhood passion that kept me going through all these years.
Education and Career
My creative instincts grew with time and I completed my Fashion Designing and clothing Technology from NIFT, Bangalore and further completed my diploma in Retail in UK. To enhance my retail skills, I joined John Lewis in the UK and worked for almost 2 years.
Becoming a Mom
I took a long break to look after and spend time with my twins, born in 2010. The fun and the attachment with them have not allowed me to engage myself in a full time job again. My love for designing, sewing, working with embellishments still found a way to keep my passion alive.
Life as an entrepreneur- Needle Doodle
My motherhood journey and my passion for sewing and designing found a way and this is how in November 2012 my journey started with my dancing needle-"Needle Doodle" It is a dream come true and my work is a slice of my life of things that are close to my heart.
The word Needle Doodle means doodling with needle to create something new. Needle Doodle offers- innovative handmade creations from fabric for a simple and elegant lifestyle. Learning from my motherhood experiences, I learnt some small little things that- "kids hold everything they see...a complete innocence and lot of fun to be with". I designed some interesting "Carry on all" bags for both the moms and their kids, which not only create fun for the little darlings but also a great learning for them.
My aim is always to offer something new and unique to my consumers. To address this, I recently designed a new series of bags known as "Addiction" a series of stylish bags, which offer meaningful utilitarian design concepts. Needle Doodle promises to present stylish and functional bags for everyone.
My design motto is to create "Something different", that a customer cannot get anywhere else. My innovative utilitarian designs concepts provide the little bit extra that tip the balance in my favor if all else is equal.

I wanted to get back into those characters like FrightBite & Kawako that expressed my Addams Family / Tim Burton imagination. I have so many different designs I didn't want to just focus on what seemed of lately my "Earth force versus Space Army figures" … Don't get me wrong in the next coming months I will definitely be putting out more new editions to that group of figures too." ~added Peter.

Technology moves so fast these days. You can drive without gasoline, use wi-fi on an airplane, and even design and order 3D printed monsters from your iOS device. That last one comes courtesy of Mico Studio's Monstermatic, now available in Apple's App Store. While more geared towards the younger set, the app has features that toy-lovers that should enjoy. The premise is that the user can customize a basic monster body with a multitude of swappable body parts and accessories, even changing the color scheme of each piece or drawing on the beast.
After the player's got the monster's design just right, they can then order a figure replica of said monster to be created and shipped to them within a few days (to the tune of US$25.95 per piece). Other features include a pretty spiffy AR function (check out the gallery below to see my monster, Luis, chilling in my living room) and a interactive play bit that is reminiscent of Nintendogs.

Hidemi Matsuzuka has posted two new photos of Square-Enix's upcoming Variant Play Arts Kai Dragoon (previously seen at NYCC 2013).
While I wasn't sure what I thought of the figure when we first saw it unpainted, I've quickly grown to like the design. The Dragoon-class will always hold a special place in my heart, as Final Fantasy IV (or II, as we knew it then) was the first game I played in the venerable franchise and I instantly took a liking to Kain. Granted, the Jump ability itself hasn't always been practical but there's something intrinsically cool about leaping high into the air then crashing down to spear an opponent.
As is the case with the Variant series, Square-Enix has created an original design here which includes a pretty wild purple and golden-yellow paint deco that you wouldn't think would work yet somehow it does. The sculpting still looks absolutely awesome; this may very well be the coolest thing to come out of the Variant Play Arts Kai line so far.

Thanks to the official Takara Tomy Kre-O web site we have Episode 12 of the of the Transformers web comic. Follow along with those whacky block building bots in the latest story that features the usual the Autobots Vs Decepticon mayhem. As usual, Takara Tomy have included a couple of cameo character appearances. Can you find them all?

Disguise Inc., the Halloween costume division of Jakks Pacific Inc., has renewed its licensing agreement with Hasbro to produce Halloween costumes and accessories based on top Hasbro brands. The new three-year agreement grants Disguise the rights to manufacture and distribute the Hasbro-branded items to all channels in the U.S. and Canada.
