FREE Bat-Blog BATMAN-THEMED DESKTOP WALLPAPER
OK, For many years we used to have a tradition here at the BAT-BLOG called "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" and I'm thinking about bringing it back. For a long time almost everybody had the same screen resolution so that made it easy. Then, it all went to heck and I was gonna have to make about 3 different sizes of each to keep people happy. Now for some strange reason everybody pretty much has the same size again, or near the same.
The size-format I'm going with is 1440 X 900, which is wide I know, but it works for the largest number of people. (Click on them to see their full size)
Most of these images explain themselves pretty good but here we go:
1. Batman: The Animated Series,
2. Humor Graphic ("Nanna, Nanna, Nanna, Nanna... Batman!", Get it? ),
3. and then, last but not least, is a modern day rendering of Adam West's Batman and Cesar Romero's Joker, as done by the legendary comic book artist Michael Allread (Madmen Comics).

Kidrobot will be releasing a Mega Man figure line
Kidrobot sure has been busy! It’s only January and already we know that they’re working on a TMNT line, and now we’re seeing that they will be releasing a Mega Man line. A few hours ago they’ve released a teaser image on their social media accounts with the caption, “#MegaMan X #kidrobot #capcom”.
So that’s pretty much a dead giveaway, but our friends over at Destructoid were tipped off with way more than a teaser image. Sent to them was artist renderings of the whole Mega Man figure line complete with an itemized product list and prices. So there will be a blind box keychain series, blind box mini figure series, and a seven inch figure series.
I’m way more excited about this than I probably should be, but after seeing how Kidrobot has handled Street Fighter and The Simpsons, I have high hopes. The keychain series will have 14 Mega Man figures featuring some of the best original characters blind boxed and priced at US$5.99 each. The mini figure series will also feature the same 14 characters, but these figures will be slightly bigger. Standing at three inches tall, these figures will also be blind boxed and sold at US$9.99.
For the seven inch figure series, there will only be two figures; Mega Man and Proto Man. Each will be detailed and be US$39.99. So far June 19 is the planned release date for the whole series. Let’s just cross our fingers so nothing goes wrong!

This post is the very first major excerpt we have from the TOKYO TOY GUY Documentary Film by our friend, and Director of the movie we should add, Yuji Ueda. Yes, this is the film that focuses on different major BATMAN TOY COLLECTIONS from all over the world. It's crazy cool!!
In this first clip we get to visit another good friend, and Asia's top Batman collector, Mr.Somchay, at his BAT-CAT Toy Museum in Bangkok, Thailand.
This place is a total dreamland for Batman Fans and I seriously hope to get the chance to go there someday. But hey, here in Yuji's video we get a totally wonderful tour of the building.
It's also nice to see "BAT-CAT" speak and move. Please let me explain, ha ha! I've been "online friends" with him for many years and to get the chance to see him in real-life (moving and speaking ) is kinda cool. The only way I have known him is he's a very nice guy and really loves the character, very cool.
Also, Please stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG because over the next few weeks we will start sharing different segments of the TOKYO TOY GUY Movie. They will be featured in separate videos, one each for each different city: Manchester, Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai, Tokyo & New York.
