Pop Culture Shock Collectibles' upcoming Street Fighter Chun Li vs Vega diorama goes up for pre-order on January 27 (but for us, it will be Tuesday... errr, Monday). The 1/10 scale polystone statue will be available in two versions: the regular edition will feature Chun Li in her traditional outfit while the exclusive (see header) version also offers her Street Fighter 3 Alpha look (better known as my favorite outfit for the character) in addition to the normal outfit.
The statue depicts Vega leaping at Chun Li who is attempting to kick him away. Vega's weight is supported by a pillar and, within the context of the scene (and the angle of his foot), I'm not sure he was rebounding off it or instead just tripping over it. However, I always give Vega the benefit of the doubt in these situations since he can do some insane gravity-defying flying attacks. Not that Chun Li, who is standing atop a ruined statue (yes, it's an awesome base), is a slouch when it comes to fighting either as that's one killer-looking kick.
The standard version is listed at US$345 while the PCS exclusive will be US$370. Presumably more images will appear later. While the set is pricy, it's neat to see Chun Li in her Alpha outfit and it certainly makes for an awesome exclusive variant.
