Armin's big juicy brain is his talent, but he's not the bravest warrior and that makes me a bit irritable. Still, he's an integral part of the Attack on Titan cast, so I'm happy to see him getting a figma.

We saw the unpainted prototype a couple of months ago. Now some pictures have emerged of the painted version. It's pretty much what we all expected. While there don't seem to be any unique accessories yet, the detailing and accuracy of his outfit and maneuver gear are excellent.

I'm not sure if I want to add Armin to my collection yet, but I feel like I'm going to want him just to complete the set.

MichalBay.com let us know the Transformers 4: Age of Extinction Director talked to TMZ Live about walking off stage at the CES Samsung event. Citing Bay is quite familiar on stage having appeared hundreds of times before. The director goes on to explains what happened this time. Ironically enough, the gaff created a news sensation that has gotten Samsung's new Curved 105-inch UHD TV more attention than they bargained for. Watch Bay on TMZ now.

Juan Muniz just let the Rabbit out of the bag via his instagram. That’s right, his signature Felipe bunny is in production as vinyl art toy. Based on one of his paintings, Felipe will come holding a bunch of grenade balloons. Poor, poor Felipe.

    [Update: Pre-orders are go!]

We'd previously seen Kantai Collection's leading lady Shimakaze in figma form through magazine scans, but now Max Factory have taken the wraps off fully and presented a comprehensive preview over at Kahotan's blog, with additional snaps over on the figma blog

I'm not a huge fan of Shimakaze's character design, but Max Factory have done their customary amazing job on detailing and there's tons of little touches to appreciate here. I'm particularly liking her fin-styled high heels, though I imagine many will focus instead on those striped thigh-highs and impressively brief skirt. She also includes not one, not two, but three versions of turret sidekick Rensouhou-chan, in various sizes. Aside from that, you'll also get her backpack and three faces.

Even though I'm no KanColle enthusiast - it's too nakedly audience-baiting for me - this looks to be an excellent figma, and well up to the usual high standards of the range. Shimakaze will be 5,370 and hit shelves in May. Pre-orders are now open, so hit the links below to grab her!

Sputter Stop returns for the 2nd year in a row but as a 2-pack now with Gaspirin which has not been released in a while. “John H.” sends along a slew of photos. From his photos, his Sputter Stop looks like a variant but in my comparison of 2008 to the new one, it looks […]

Is the Disney Store phasing out the stacking acrylic cases for their singles? It is cardboard wrap and a plastic box with a plastic handle. The background art is at the rear of the car as opposed to the back side (so it’s smaller). So, it’s cute for kids but I’m sure collectors much prefer […]

  • 01/08/14--04:00: making it your own
  • I don’t do New Year’s resolutions. Because if I officially had a resolution, or 5, or 10, I’d just be bound to officially break each and every one of them. That’s kind of how I work, unfortunately. So I don’t officially have any resolutions. But if I did, I would make sure that this year […]

When we've posted Bruscolino's art in the past, we've always noted the slimy style he uses to turn designer collectibles into creatures of the ooze. This time, he's taken that style to an old classic: green army men. As such, he's created an army of Muddlerz, almost alien-like creatures that still maintain their original shapes as well. For example, you can see the kneeling army man with the rifle and grenade-tossing army man in the front of the header photo.

A total of 15 packs were made, and if you're interested in ordering one, you can e-mail Bruscolino for details.
