Dok A, Munky King invite us to a Winter Wanderland
Back at SDCC 2013, Munky King showed off Doktor A's newest work, Mr. Pumfrey and his Astounding Mechanised Perambulator. Naturally, there's a new colorway out, just in time for the freezing cold most of the U.S. is experiencing, and it's the Winter Wanderland version. Cast in a snow white, with emerald green and silver accents like so many of Dok's works, it's the perfect reminder that you have to deal with the cold for another three months. Well, at least if you're me.
A total of 100 Winter Wanderland Mr. Pumfreys will be on sale Thursday at noon Pacific (3 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. GMT). They'll be exclusive to Munky King's store and will be US$100 each.

Kidrobot x Sekure D Codename Unknown Army Unleashed
Sekure D sends word that he has created 18 x customs for Kidrobot that are to be featured and for sale in their stores (Los Angeles, New York, Boulder, and San Francisco) as well as KR.com this coming Thursday.
"… we have worked together to produce an entire Codename Unknown Army available exclusively through Kidrobot stores and Kidrobot.com. In total I created 18 custom pieces on their MUNNYWORLD platforms and they have been distributed between their stores with two pieces being available this Thursday (USA) on their website. The MUNNY is undeniably my favorite platform in this blank universe of silhouettes and was the base for most of my work but I also included is a few TRIKKY customs.
All 18 pieces have received the full Codename Unknown treatment with special reinforcements coming from the Coral and Rock divisions of the Allegiance." (Read more on Sekure D's blog).

Munky King announces the release of the latest colorway of Doktor A's Mr. Pumfrey and his Astounding Mechanised Perambulator, in The Winter Wanderland colorway - which features "a sleek and minimalist glossy white finish with silver and turquoise accents."
And seen from the promo pics, seems the Operator of the fantastical machine can be removed! This to me adds a whole new layer of fun and playability to the piece, IMHO.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction - Micheal Bay Announces Samsung Curved 105-inch UHD TV at CES
Michael Bay let us know he made an appearence at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada to help Samsung announce their new Curved 105-inch UHD TV. While there was a mix up with the teleprompter and things didn't go as planned, we're sure that Michael's appearence was more than meets the TV that he's calling "just stellar." Kidrobot, Sekure D call forth the Codename Unknown Army
Sekure D's latest round of custom Munnys is a special delivery for Kidrobot. He's made 18 custom figures, which will be divided up among the four Kidrobot retail stores (Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Boulder, Colo.) and kidrobot.com. They're an interesting collection of graffiti-styled robots from the Codename Unknown Army, painted on customs in a couple different sizes. Some have additional sculptwork as well, as they come from the Rock and Coral divisions of the army.
Everything goes on sale starting Thursday; be sure to contact each respective store if you're interested in purchasing a custom from the releases they'll have!

Eric is my "hero" and inspiration in this scene, I am not shy to say, and I don't say it lightly. ERIC NOCELLA DIAZ: My 2013 was very busy and exciting. Argonaut Resins celebrated it's sixth year on the scene in 2013 and produced more resins than the year before. The big high light of the year was collaborating with some amazing artists on the Tuttz, Pharaoh Hound and Sucio mouse resins figurines.
ERIC NOCELLA DIAZ: I have a lot of big things planned this year like the 2 foot Tuttz and probably a few other sizes since the figurine has been received rather well. I'd also like to move into a more mainstream audience with my brands and future concepts if possible. I'm always full of surprises and will continue to try and keep making more exciting concepts come to life. There may even be more artist collaborations too, fingers crossed.
