So my beautiful gift guides might be filled with my top picks for kids, but what’s actually waiting to be wrapped at my house? Some movies that you can watch with your kids. They are not those Disney movies or other animated movies, but ones specially for Christmas. Here is the list of 5 top movies-

A Charlie Brown Christmas- There is no better movie than this classic one for Christmas. This movie has a wonderful soundtrack and a heartwarming story. The best part being, this story is for all ages. Kids above 3 yrs would enjoy it a lot.

The Muppet Christmas Carol- This is the classic Dickens Christmas story, which might be a bit stuffy. But the Muppet characters go a long way in making the movie the best for all ages. The movie is best for ages 5 and up. The story is one which you basically know and love. So one can expect a spooky ghost of Christmas future with less Gonzo craziness.

Dr Seuss: How the Grinch stole Christmas- This movie is 50 yrs old, but is still one of the unique animated movies. Kids aged 4 and above are the best age group for the movie. The Grinch is not so nice, but most youngsters won’t be too bothered by his antics. Don’t be surprised if your kids sing “You’re a Mean one, Mr. Grinch” until New Year’s.

Merry Madagascar – Kids who loved Madagascar simply cannot resist this short TV Christmas special. This movie stars their favorite characters in a festive new adventure. Anybody else should enjoy the films messages and humor. This movie is best for the age group 6 yrs and above.

White Christmas- This movie is a 1950’s classic starring Bing Crosby. The movie presents a nice opportunity for children to talk about the Christmas traditions with their parents or grandparents.  This movie is a great one for kids aged 8 and above.
Watch these movies on Christmas with your little ones. Christmas is all about enjoyment. What would be best to end up by saying “Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts.”
