Touhou characters don't always receive a lot of variation in design--you either get the original attempts at "artwork", or the more typical prettied up versions seen in Griffon's numerous releases. Embrace Japan is set to give fans something new though, showing off this slick looking Youmu for June. She's got quite an artsy design, and I'd love to see more of the cast like this.
Her expression is rather uncharacteristic and looks more like it might be from some shoujo manga, but at the same time it seems rather fitting for the almost otherworldly feel this figure's got as a whole. I really like the look of her eyes, along with the subtle messiness to her hair. They really gave her swords some love too, and both Hakurouken and Roukanken are gorgeously detailed. Her phantom though, is super creepy! One is definitely not expecting an overly detailed skull to be grinning from the end. Regardless, this is one Touhou you'll probably want to cough up the ¥9,690 for!

Sega Amusements have posted new images of their Transformers: Human Alliance Arcade 55 inch Theater Game. This is their second system made with the following features that are different from the 42 inch Deluxe Game including: two players capability, Bumblebee theme cabinet, 55 inch LED theater display, five cities to defend and Free Transformers Human Alliance standee included with display.
