Minicel Gold Label & "Battle Damaged" 5Star CUBS Release (Dec 6 Sale)
While I've previously featured the final production images of Rotobox's Minicel editions: GOLD LABEL and the "Battle Damaged" 5STAR CUBS - both limited to only 40pcs each design, and both comes equipped with a new pair of wings.
Minicel Gold Label edition comes with 3 guns and a pair of wings while 5Star cubs battle damaged edition comes with 2 guns and a pair of wings. They will be available online this Friday December 6th on www.kusovinyl.com, for US$19.95 each or US$39.90 for a set.
Shown above-right is the Regular edition 5STAR CUBS (for visual reference), and will be released in 2014 instead.

Boxos papercraft playsets let you recreate fave series
For the DIY toy collector who loves pop culture, Funko's upcoming Boxos releases will let you re-enact scenes and create new adventures for characters from series such as Star Wars, My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Batman. What sets these kits apart from previous ones are the inclusion of paper backdrops and accessories, giving you a whole scene to play with and display. And while some papercraft projects require tape or scissors, Boxos do not. Just fold them up and you are ready to go. Apart from the nifty concept, I really dig the art style used on these toys. The simplified cutesy look is so darling. Seriously, check out the gallery. Adorable!

Thanks to Weibo member Geek5 who has shared a couple of in-hand image of the Transformers Year of the Horse Optimus Prime action figure. The MP-10 based figure with gold chrome has been reissued as a special Chinese New Years exclusive. See the figure in his robot mode as well as a look at the alternate mode with trailer in the gallery now.

Pick up this Saber when she comes down the aisle
As is no secret by now, I much prefer the Fate series' Saber in her rare feminine versions. As good as she looks in a suit, few things beat something like Saber Lily, or in this case a new Bride version. Much as I dislike Nendos as general rule, I can't help notice what a great design her "armor" has on its own.
If I could be so bold, I might say the jumpsuit itself even has a Kill Bill aura about it right down to the stripe, which may certainly be the intention given the figure's Bride theme in general. I especially like the little details, like the designs on the back of her veil and skirt. While she's not wielding the usual Excalibur either, her new sword certainly has quite the eye-catching design. As usual, making a pact with her will require the usual Nendo ¥3,704, and this Spring-y lady will be arriving at an appropriate date in April.
