STAR BLAZERS 2199
"Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199 Uchū Senkan Yamato Ni-ichi-kyū-kyū?) is a 2012 Japanese military sci-fi anime television series that is a remake of the first Space Battleship Yamato TV series created by Yoshinobu Nishizaki with production design and direction by Leiji Matsumoto in 1974, known in the United States as Star Blazers. The series was originally screened back-to-back in theaters across Japan, a few episodes at a time prior to release on home video, and aired on TV from April 7, 2013 to September 29, 2013. YES, I blogged about this before, but it has, alas, flew below my radar thus far … nevertheless, with the DVD and Blu-Ray of the 26 episodes scheduled for a release on February 27th, 2014, here's a relook at the first 6 chapters in this 13 minute trailer posted above!

Tomopop Original: How To Make Your Animal Crossing Avitar
Since coming out in June, Animal Crossing: New Leaf has been a popular game title on Nintendo's 3DS. The fourth title in the Animal Crossing series, New Leaf allows players to make their characters even more unique. Now that you're the mayor you have to look presentable! This game gives players the freedom to customize their furniture, compose their town tune and design their own clothes.
So it was with this creative spirit that I set out to create my own Animal Crossing characters. There are already many New Leaf items that include plushes and figures like Nendoroid Shizue, but none that focus on your character. As much as I would love a plush of my favorite Animal Crossing villager, Pippy, I wanted a version of my character more.
I've crocheted a male and female version of the player character, and I have the pattern and instructions right here to show you how. Now you can make your very own Animal Crossing character and personalize it any way you want.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction - Music Producer Steve Aoki Working on New Movie?
American electro house musician, Grammy nominated record producer Steve Aoki has revealed he could be working on the Transformers 4: Age of Extinction. A recent post on his twitter account reveals he's been talking with Micheal Bay about Autobots and Decepticons. No work on IF / what he would do on the film, yet. Transformers Wars - Custom Papercraft Toys Book - A Better Look At Folding Robots

Each kit includes pre-cut color templates, instruction booklet, battle arena and wind-up platforms which make the models move.
