Happy Thanksgiving!
Nendoroid Shizue Winter ver. is the star of pre-orders
All you 3DS owners may be in Kalos or Hyrule or a courtroom right now, but your Animal Crossing towns keep rolling along, thanks to the tireless dedication of the canine secretary Shizue, or Isabelle as she's more commonly known in English. Having already received one adorable Nendoroid, it's time for Isabelle to pop on her winter jacket and go up for order again, accompanied by a Kahotan preview gallery.
This version of Shizue is a little less feature rich than the previous one, but there's some cool stuff in here. The big draw is a star shape effects part, allowing her to do her 'kururinpa' pose with the included arms spread parts. There's also a new face that can only be described as smug, and hands on hips arms. There's special incentive for owners of Summer Shizue as well, as you'll get both of the new arms poses in summer versions as well.
It definitely seems like this new version is designed to encourage current owners to double down. If you want to do so then orders are open now at ¥3,519 and she'll be showing up in April - ironically, just about the time it'll be a bit warm for that jacket.

Live your schoolgirl fantasy with these UtaPri dreamboats
I've noticed that as rare as male figures tend to be, it's often Alter that picks up the slack more than many other producers. Their latest foray into the less-than-fair sex comes with the two pretty boys from Uta no Prince-sama that we took a look at recently, eternal rivals and roommates Ren and Masato. Me being me, I know next to nothing about the series or the characters, though I do admit that the premise sounds moderately intriguing what with being a bit of a musician myself.
As for the figures, even without being terribly interested in some bishies on my shelf I can't be sure they look up to Alter's usual standards. It might be the photos, but they seem a bit "off." At least Masato does. I can kind of get behind Ren, and he does seem a bit more "finished" than Masato's figure. Fortunately I also dig white uniforms and costumes, so I also see some appeal in their overall design, even if it's a bit flashy with all the fringe and collars and I don't even know what else.
That said, there's probably a very specific group who will be interested in these two, and little chance a few images will sway their opinion one way or the other. Both will be making their debut in April for about ¥7,800, so they may take up a fair chunk of the monthly figure budget at that.

This particular year has been … tough. I might still add items to cart, to give myself the semblance of joy-shopping (don't worry folks, I'll still remove items at the end of the session lol) but at the end of the day, I would be happy to see YOU folks score some swell specials!
I have featured a splendid selection of sales (with news popped into my mailbox), while the other ads posted here are found from across my www-streams, for your considerations as well. Happy Shopping, folks!
