Stephen Jones does Barbie: The Mad Hatter is in town for the holidays!
If you think it is the first time Stephen Jones has done something with the iconic doll, think again. He has presented a collection of hats on Barbie mannequins in the past and this August he made the headband shown above, for a short clip titled "Punk: Not Clueless" starring himself. The headband is sold for a hefty £1000 + VAT on the Showstudio website. I bet you can make one for much less.

Watch This 8-minute Short Film Wes Anderson Made For Prada
In this short titled Castello Cavalcanti, Jason Schwartzman plays a race car driver who crashes in the middle of a village during the Molte Miglia rally in September 1955 and when a bus arrives to pick him up, he decides to wait for the next one. ALBOTAS Needs Writers
As I’m sure you’ve noticed, A Little Bit on the Awesome Side struggles every now and then with posting cool shit. Unfortunately, this blog doesn’t pay our bills. It pays us with network connections, occasional free comic books, video games, films, and download codes, Amazon gift card money, and friendships. Eventually, we’d love to make this first priority in all of our lives, but with full time jobs, significant others, and tons of bills, it’s diffucult crafting an internet geek-blog into a source of income.
Right now, ALBOTAS is run by three people: gorillashit (myself (Kevin)), Brownkidd (Robby), and el-marc (Marc). We all frantically do work outside of this, so it’s hard to constantly cover the massive span of gaming, comic books, movies, design, technology, gear, culture, anime, and pretty much every geek crevice imaginable in between.
We think it’s about time we ask around if anyone is interested in contributing for us.
Right now, we’re looking for people who specialize in the topics of film, anime, gaming, comics, and pretty much a bulk of what we cover now, but with an open mind of everything we already dabble in. We need people proficient with Tumblr and HTML, as well as social networking and promoting posts.
If this interests you, or maybe even someone you know, give us an email. Please contact: cortez@albotas.com or brownkidd@albotas.com if you have interest in contributing and growing with us, and we will be more than happy to discuss benefits and opportunities we have open for writers.

Play As Classic Snake in MGS V: Ground Zeroes
This new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes reveals an exclusive PlayStation mission titled “Deja Vu,” in which players can play as the original classic Snake. Completely untouched by next-gen graphics, the original Snake looks hilarious and adds a nice exclusive feature to those with Sony consoles.
