I've got great news. I've decided to offer 4 different complete printed sets (i.e. snail mail) of my "It's Raining Baby Showers" baby shower e-printables lines for customers in the Continental U.S. and its' territories.

What does this mean?  Well, I'll print all the e-printable sheets and e-book tutorials you've purchased and then ship them to you via the U.S. Post Office (i.e. snail mail).

I just love seasonal and holiday shadowboxes and have made many over the years. Some were decorations, some were given as gifts and some have been for sale.

The shadowboxes were mostly made out of 1/2"x 1" pine for the frames and 1/2" pine boards for the centers. The frames were painted one color and the center boards were painted another. And, rub-on stencils were added to the center boards to complete the pictures.

There was only one exception to the total wood picture and that was for the snowman picture shown in the third row of the collage above third picture from the left. That shadowbox was created using pine wood for the frames and an 8"x 10" canvas panel for the center. Like the other shadowbox pictures I painted the canvas panel a different color than the frames and then applied the rub-on stencils that I had purchased at various arts & crafts stores to create the picture. Brush on varnish was added to seal everything.

Aoshima's Kuma Blog has a new post up, in which they've announced that they're making mini-figures of the girls from Kan Colle (a.k.a. Kantai Collection). What makes this notable is that ... well, Aoshima mostly focuses on model kits. They don't make much in the way of trading figures, as the only other set listed on MyFigureCollection is a Lucky Star Itasha set.

The pixelated image is also the only teaser we get of the first designs, but fear not: more news will come soon. In the meantime, you can take solace with knowing that they'll be making rubber keychains of the Kan Colle girls and a model kit of the Nagato as well.
