Good Smile has been on a roll with their A Certain Scientific Railgun Nendoroids recently, with both Mikoto Misaka and Kuroko Shirai being smart, good looking and well accessorised releases. You'd think the obvious step would be to do one of the other main characters next, but instead GSC have stepped sideways and revealed the next in the range will be a clone of Mikoto, quite literally.
As ever with the franchise, explaining the entire plot would take forever, but basically main character Misaka Mikoto has an army of clones of her, referred to as 'Sisters'. They all look identical and are emotionless automatons, at least at first. They're generally distinguished by their distinctive goggles and a fondness for high powered weaponry, both of which are included here. In a clever bit of design, Misaka can either wear the goggles or have them perched up on her forehead courtesy of a special hairpiece.
Other accessories include a lightning effects part and a special set of arms and a skirtpiece designed to recreate a scene from the anime where she cradles a kitten in her skirt. I'm absolutely CERTAIN that this will not be abused for lewd shots. Yup, certain. There's also a set of four tiny stickers designed to mimic a 'Gekota' badge. This seems odd to me - why not just make a small plastic replica? Three faces, blank, curious and '¬_¬', round out the package.
Though there's a cynical part of me which says this should be an add on set for the existing Mikoto Nendoroid, there's probably enough here to justify the existance of an entirely separate figure. For those of you looking to build a clone army of your own, she'll be up for pre-orders from tomorrow.

Square Enix is dropping the price of three of their games today for PC gamers. The poorly named ”[The] Tomb of the Sleeping Hitman,” is a bundle that includes three of their biggest hits in the last year: Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, and Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition, at a low price of $14. They come with Steam codes, for those who want that. Those on PC can catch up with some of these titles they may have missed, while also holding them over until Grand Theft Auto V finds its way onto PC, which will definitely be a bit.

McFarlane Toys Halo 4 Series 2 Action Figures – They’re Finally BACK!
Awhile back, pre-orders popped up for the latest Monogatari girl from Good Smile, Fire Sister Tsukihi. It's been some months, but if you're still not hooked--and why wouldn't you be--then grab a look at a wonderful gallery from Akiba Hobby. Or, you know, just use it to bide the time until she's finally available.
I've been a huge Monogatari fan for awhile, and longtime readers will know I've been consistently impressed with various figures from the series. While I've yet to have Tsukihi in my hands, of course, it looks like she'll be just as well-done as the others. GSC in particular has been going above and beyond with their treatment of the series--expect a look at Karen soon!--and Tsukihi is no different.
Clad in her usual less-than-modest yukata and perched along some scaffolding, she gazes back with the sort of look you'd expect her to give a peeping Arararagi. I'm loving the designs on her yukata, and the flowing ribbon is a nice touch instead of making it simply lie there as well. All the numerous masks scattered about complete the package, and I'm never one to say anything bad about kitsune imagery. January is a long wait away, but hopefully time will pass quickly!

Fantagraphics has revealed the company will be publishing a massive 454-paged collection of issues #1-#18 of Daniel Clowes' Eightball. That should include his infamous Ghost World comic, as well as Like a Velvet Cast In Iron, Pussey, and a couple of other stories. The collection will be a two-volume set, complete with slipcase, commentary between comic covers, and according to what Eric Reynolds told Comics Reporter, "a not-insigificant amount of strips that for whatever reason, Dan never wanted to collect.”
I guess this dude tried picking up his GTA V with a business card because he didn’t have an ID on him. Then the clerk made some remarks and he came back offended, asking the woman for her full name and phone number. Watch how awkward it gets above.
