Yikes ! I'm Melting For Witches!
I seem to have an unusual attraction to witches. I LOVE designing and making them. It doesn't matter whether they're made of cloth, wood, cloth and wood, felt, roving, paper clay, whatever.... I love them all.
Scary, sweet, gross, fashionable and delightful, whatever.... I love them all. Standing, sitting, flying, whatever... I love them all.
You could say I've never met a witch doll or woodcraft that I haven't loved. What about you? Do you have an unusual attraction to witches, too? Are you melting, too?
GSC announces a raft of delays for September
By now, Good Smile Company's monthly release schedule post has become a regular source of frustration as the firm announces which figures will miss their shipping dates. This month is no different, except maybe for a higher than usual attrition rate. Scheduled to be released this month but now pushed to October are:
Good Smile Company - Nendoroid Demon King
Max Factory - Kuroyukihime ~Death by Embracing~
Max Factory - figma Link (Re-release)
Max Factory - figma Samus Aran (Re-release)
Max Factory - Belldandy with Holy Bell
Max Factory - Dark Elf
Max Factory - Dark Elf: Brown Skin ver.
Penguin Parade - Petanko Yu Narukami
Penguin Parade - Petanko Rise Kujikawa
Phat! Company - Nendoroid Yoshika Miyafuji: Shinden Ver.
Phat! Company - Bayonetta
While some of these are understandable (I'd have been astonished if Belldandy hadn't been delayed), there's some stuff here which is absolutely inexcusable. We're delaying re-releases of figmas? Also, this is like the third month in a row Bayonetta has been delayed and I'd have to imagine buyers are rapidly running out of patience. Stuff will always be delayed - it's an inevitable part of the process - but let's hope such a large roster is an exception rather than the rule.

VISEone's yellow Zombie Goo seeps into NYCC
Tenacious Toys boothVISEone has revealed that his Zombie Goo vinyl collectible will indeed have a special colorway for New York Comic Con. The 8-inch figure will be available in a bright yellow version with some black detail accents. Only 100 of these will be available, and they'll be at the Tenacious Toys booth (#208).
If you like the yellow variant (I don't because I prefer the original green color), they'll be US$40 each.

CrestOne opens pre-orders for Warrior Dunnys 2.0

Totaling 50 Dunnys, the Dunnys will come with masks, bows, arrows, quivers, spears and other warrior-type accessories, and they'll be sold for US$80 each (shipping included).
The new blind-boxed Warrior Dunnys are available via one of two pre-order methods: either by going to the Kidrobot Forums or CrestOne's shop. Tomopop readers, are you digging the style of these armed little vinyl warriors?
