THE BASIC PLOT:
With the League of Assassins knowing where the SoulTaker Sword is, but unable to get Katana to return it, they decide their only course of action is to kidnap Bruce Wayne and hold him for ransom – that ransom being the sword. Of course, they don’t realize that Bruce Wayne is actually Batman! When Katana shows up to turn over the sword and rescue Wayne, Alfred causes a diversion, allowing Wayne to don the Batman suit and join the battle. Teaming with Katana to end the League, Batman finds himself in an all-out ninja fight that ends with a startling revelation.

Scout class Rewind joins TFSS 2.0
The 2014 Transformers Subscription Service 2.0 got their hands on a mold that's never been released by Hasbro before. Figure number four for the sub is Rewind, the G1 tape-bot as revealed by the Transformers Collector's Club on Facebook. He's made using the Scout class Rumble mold that was intended to be released as part of wave five of the Reveal the Shield line. The line was discontinued before the wave could see release anywhere in the world. Takara Tomy did use the mold in their own Rumble and Frenzy two-pack so it didn't go to waste before this announcement. Rewind's biggest feature is a new head sculpt designed by artist Nick Roche.
And with that we've got our week four reveal. Rewind will be joining the already revealed Treadshot, Barricade, and Fisitron along with the unseen Chromedome. Next week the club is promising an entire week of reveals featuring new head sculpts and news, promising there's more to the sub "than meets the eye"!

Fight your way to pre-ordering Benkei Musashibo
More genderbending fun from Majikoi in the form of the newer character Benkei! I've found the franchise to be a bit hit or miss, but a character like Benkei is easy to love! She seems to be dressed in the Academy uniform, but only just--one can certainly appreciate the oh-so-casual style of her top, showing off some ample assets!
She's not just a beauty though, and you'll have to keep an eye out on her staff. I really like how detailed the tip is, along with the seemingly loose rings around the sides. Benkei's also got her ever present Kawakami Sui gourd at her side, and I like how it's wrapped around her arm for safekeeping.
What really gets me about this figure is her face and hair. She's got some extremely sexy, messy long hair, and her narrowed eyes could convey all sorts of emotion. Anything from a come hither gaze to sizing up her opponent could be in mind! It's definitely nice to see Griffon stepping it up a notch in the expressions department. Benkei's certainly one I'll keep an eye on, especially with the not so hefty price of around ¥7,720 for her October release.

Next Transformers Masterpiece is Soundblaster with Ratbat
This was bound to happen. Transformers Masterpiece molds are expensive so the best way to get money out of them is to just repaint them into another character. This time around MP-13 Soundwave is getting a second life as MP-13B Soundblaster, just like his animated counterpart did in the Headmasters series. As revealed by TFSource Soundblaster isn't coming alone as he'll be paired with Decepticon tape Ratbat made from an all new mold. They've got him penciled in for a March 2014 release.
But before that comes MP-12G based on the G2 version of Sideswipe as seen in the Marvel comic series. The figure comes in the G2 black colors and Autobot symbol and the comic's trademark giant guns and a sword. He was first seen at Tokyo Toy Show back in June and is expected in February 2014.
Hopefully soon we'll also get the results of Takara Tomy's Japanese Masterpiece fan poll, plus the expected announcement of MP Wheeljack and Bumblebee.
