Richard The Red Santa - New Needle Felted OOAK Handmade Santa Art Doll
Richard The Red Santa just loves the Christmas holiday season because he loves the color red and decorating everything red. It's such a cheery and upbeat color and matches beautifully with the green and bright white colors of the holiday season. This year he's decided to decorate his Christmas tree with red lights, a red bow, and all red ornaments.
Richard's inner body is fully bendable and is sculpted out of Sunflower's alpaca roving from Rock Garden Alpacas Fiber and his outer body, legs, arms, face, and nose from a beige mix from Rock Garden Alpacas Fiber. His cheeks are blushed with a rosy chalk. His black boots were made using black alpaca roving from Rock Garden Alpacas Fiber and are tied with black suede laces. His hair, eyebrows, mustache, and beard are all felted with Sunflower's raw washed roving from Rock Garden Alpacas. His brown eyes are needle felted with Ivy's brown alpaca roving, black alpaca roving, and white prime roving from Rock Garden Alpacas Fiber. His mouth is needle felted with red roving. His classes were sculpted with silver wire.
His needle felted pants are made from dark green roving and his needle felted shirt is a blue, teal, and lilac roving blend mix. His vest, jacket, and Santa hat are all hand sewn using blanket stitching. He is wearing a green and black tweed colored wool vest with a needle felted black button and red felt jacket that is tied around the waist with suede lace. A dark blue wool hat with felted pompom matching his shirt sits atop his head. Richard is sitting on fresh tree log and is decorating an artificial tree with red colored bulbs.
Richard is hoping he'll have enough red ornaments to decorate his whole tree. Hopefully, he'll have enough as nothing but red will do.

Modular “Minimals” by Sebastián Burga
Peruvian designer Sebastián Burga has created these awesome modular animal toys called “Minimals,” in which can be put together and taken apart the same way LEGOs can.
The name derives, at a time, from the word “Minimalism” and the contraction of “Mini-Animals”. Certainly, they’re set out to expose the essence of toyness through eliminating all non-essential forms, features and concepts. Together, they create a pantone of colors, animals, clothes, styles and archetypes, encouraging people to find themselves between them.
These figures are clean, clever, minimal, and pretty large. Check our more photos at Burga's Behance or blog.
DIY Button Magnets With Your Kids
The idea of creating button magnet was all by chance. I had gone out to buy craft material for my sister's project. I couldn't get what she needed. But, I ended up buying some catchy and attractive buttons. These buttons reminded of magnets, I had seen at my aunt's place. Trying to experiment, I also broke them. They were her favorite ones. My age saved me from getting whacked. So I thought, I should make similar magnets and gift her. I was sure she would like them. This is how the idea of making these button magnets came.
So here's how to make some fun button magnets:
What you'll need-
Colorful button
Fevi Quick
Small magnets
It's really easy. Start by sticking a few buttons together. Get creative, make your own pretty button designs.
Once you have the button base ready, flip it over, put some glue and stick the magnet. Let it dry for 2 minutes.
That's it! You are done! Make a bunch of these magnets.
Use these magnets to decorate your cupboard, fridge and a lot more.
