The many looks of the marvelous Mr. Modulok
Matty Collect has released some illustrations that demonstrate some of the possible combinations for the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classic Modulok's parts. Modulok, the "Evil Beast of a Thousand Bodies", is a fully interchangeable figure that features a slew of parts that can fit together into any number of combinations.
While I find the illustrations fairly exciting, I can't help but think how much cooler it would have been to see the actual figure displayed as such instead. However, I imagine that the prototype (last seen at SDCC) might be too fragile for it.
Modulok is one of the over-sized figures included in the 2014 Club Eternia subscription. Club Eternia is currently open to new subscribers through August 19.

Get ready to sortie and pick up the latest Inia
It's time for yet another Muv-Luv lovely, with Kotobukiya and the lilac-haired Inia. I won't lie though, I can barely tell the difference between this and any of the other multitudes of Inia figures that seem to crop up every few months. She seems to end up either underwear or armor-clad, and I could barely tell you which figure was which if they were laid out in front of me.
I suppose Koto did as fine a job as ever with her, though. I'm still not a fan of the "encased" armor look as usual, but the rest of the suit's appeal is pretty hard to deny, especially thanks to this pose's outstretched legs! The addition of a bit of rubble for a base is a nice touch too, letting her lean on something besides merely sprawling out on a simple oval.
Perhaps fans may be more smitten with this Inia than I am, but as it stands, she looks like every other Muv-Luv piece to me, at least when it comes to the girls in their armor. If you're not blind to her allure, fork over ¥7,090 to grab her in September.

[NSFW] Get your hands on a not-so-Little Red Riding Hood
Lechery is often a bit more subtle with their naughtiness, but this latest take on a less-than-innocent fairy tale is anything but. Little Red Riding Hood is all grown up, and she's more than happy to show it off with a see-through dress that leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. Despite the goods on display, the wolf seems too distracted to bother with her though, leaving her free to her own devices.
Devices that are, shall we say, rather less than subtle themselves. If the dress wasn't already revealing enough, she's fully castoffable, leaving only the most innocent reader to question just what the plans are for that seemingly random banana in her grasp. Of course, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like her, as I do (nearly) all things Lechery. It only helps the design that she's made from gorgeous candy resin as well, lending that soft look that I adore oh so very much.
Shameless fans will be able to tell her what big...assets she's got in November, for the surprisingly low asking price of around ¥7,460.

Make a splash and pre-order Majestic Prince's Rin
Majestic Prince may not be known for the most appealing character designs, hailing from the same sci-fi designer as Gundam SEED, Fafner, and other giant robot shows, but that hasn't stopped Wave from doing what they can to turn out a sexy new Beach Queen. In a slightly surprising move, they've ignored the girls from Team Rabbits (at least for the time being), instead focusing on their commanding officer Rin Suzukaze.
It's a pleasant surprise to be sure, since it's rare to see adult figures being shown off at all, never mind in the Beach Queens line. Rin really looks great as well, with quite the attractive and notably adult figure on display. That view from behind is especially distracting! I do wish Wave hadn't left out her ever present lollipop, but even on her own Rin definitely makes for one of the more desirable Beach Queens around. As usual, expect to drop around ¥3,670 to grab her in January.

Griffon's SAO figures, Prototype, Pre-orders and Released
Griffon has been steadily making SAO figurines for a while now and there are quite a few out. Recently they published a few photos of their 1/1 scale Yui on their blog as well as a prototype for an upcoming Asuna sculpt and a Comiket exclusive Asuna that sold out a while back. Even though some of the news and figurines is a little old I thought they were neat enough to make a little round up of Griffon's SAO figurines of prototyped models, ones that are available for pre-order and released ones too.
