Gundam Build Fighter, HG kits now available for pre-order
Just over two weeks ago, Gundam Build Fighters was unleashed to the masses. A series taking its liberties with plamo and design by smashing them together in unholy unions. Now the time has come to be prepared and pre-order all of the playsets and toys for the new series along with the kits that finally come into existence thanks to the series.
As revealed before, the first kits for GBF will be the Build Strike Gundam, Zaku Amazing and Gundam X Devil. The Build Strike and Zaku will both be available in October for ¥1,400 and ¥1,800 respectively. The Gundam X Devil will be out in November for ¥1,800. In addition, the Build Booster and Amazing Booster will be available to attach for your other Gunpla in October for ¥500 and ¥700 each.
In more exciting news, the HGAC Wing Gundam, HGAW Gundam Double X, and HGUC Victory Gundam are available for pre-orders as well. The new 1/144 Wing will run you ¥1,500 this September, the DX will go for ¥1,700 in October, while the HGUC Victory will cost ¥1,200 in November. This is a great time to be into Gunpla and a horrible time for the wallet. You can find the pre-order links as well as the gallery of the kits below.

Sideshow's Baroness shows why evil is hot
Sideshow Collectibles' 1/6 scale Baroness is now available for pre-order. The Sideshow exclusive version features an additional head and glasses.
The Baroness is among the most iconic of Cobra's evil agents and, for many, is among the first names that pops into mind when they think of the organization. Sideshow Collectibles seems to have done the character justice (or injustice?), as the figure looks fairly great. I like the lightly armored appearance which includes a breastplate, gauntlets, and greaves. It strikes me as being something of a throwback to older figures and the comics, as the films and most recent cartoon (the canceled long before its time G.I. Joe: Renegades) have opted for different looks entirely.
The Baroness comes with a rifle, sub-machine pistol, and knife. The Sideshow Collectibles' exclusive version features an alternate head with a sort of windswept hair effect (as seen in the header image). It's certainly a nice added bonus.
Sideshow Collectibles' 1/6 scale Baroness can be pre-ordered for US$180 and is slated for a January 2014 release.
