I just loved the Artful Gathering e-class that I took last June and my recent Artful Gathering class "Briley The Birdie" with Colleen Moody.  The class was fabulous, the instructor was fabulous, and all the students were fabulous.  I had a wonderful time.

So, of course, I'm looking forward to my next class which is Judy Johnson's "Lovely Sea Maiden."

Alpacas Rock Grazing Stitchery Picture and Ornament E-Pattern - Alpaca Picture and Ornament Decoration - Alpacas Rock Series - Pattern Category - Skill Level - Beginner

Alpacas Rock Grazing Stitchery Picture and Ornament is an e-pattern to create both a 3" by 5" alpaca stitchery ornament picture in a 4" by 6" purchased picture frame and create a 3" by 5" alpaca ornament.

Both the picture alpaca piece and alpaca ornament are embroidered as a stitchery. They are both finished with a back lining. The base and back lining are blanket stitch embroidered along the edge.

The pattern can be made as just a blanket stitched ornament or as a wool felt blanket stitched stitchery picture enclosed within a wall picture frame or tabletop picture frame.

The pattern includes text instructions, step-by-step color diagrams for finishing the alpaca stitchery ornament or alpaca stitchery ornament picture from start to finish, alpacas embroidery design instructions sheet and full page single sided pattern piece sheets. The pattern also includes step-by-step illustrations and instructions for blanket stitching.

Alpacas Rock - Alpacas Love Their Apple Trees Mug Rugs E-Pattern - Alpaca Mug Rugs - Alpacas Rock Series - Pattern Category - Skill Level - Beginner

Alpacas Rock - Alpacas Love Their Apple Trees Mug Rugs is an e-pattern to create two 4 1/4" by 7" alpaca stitchery mug rugs.

Each of your mug rugs utilizes two 4 1/4” by 7” pieces of felt. One to sew all the wool felt pieces of the picture to and the other as back lining. The alpaca pieces are embroidered as a stitchery and then embroidered to the felt background for each respective mug rug. The clouds, apple trees, leaves, and apples are embroidered to the felt background. The fence rails and fence posts are embroidered to the alpacas and the felt background. Leaves of grass are also embroidered to the fence rails, alpacas feet, and felt background on the grazing alpaca mug rug. The mug rugs are blanket stitched around all the edges.

The pattern includes text instructions, step-by-step color diagrams for finishing the alpaca stitchery mug rugs from start to finish, full page picture layout sheet, alpacas embroidery design instructions sheet and full page single sided pattern piece sheets. The pattern also includes step-by-step illustrations and instructions for blanket stitching.

Ume Toys' latest little character has arrived, and her name is Lolly Shortstick. The 3-inch resin figure is a happy little ice cream on a stick, and is just the cutest little thing. D'awwwww. She even has a little popsicle with wood-grain pattern sticking out of her head.

I started this Thursday morning dropping by my neighborhood McDonalds and snapping the above pic(s), but not really procure the figures - as I was both in a rush for a medical appointment, and that my "interest" for the Minions waned quite a bit, since my fervor for them last week (I have a short attention span) … so I left them as-is.

Half a day later, I went back to the venue, and the figures have changed, and I did not think too much of it, and decided to give it a go and see if I could purchase them without the need to buy a Happy Meal. It was a failed attempt.


Essentially, they come FREE with a Happy Meal purchased, and you can buy a MAXIMUM of THREE different Minion figurines, with 3 Happy Meal combos. Or you could just buy one, no biggie. So I snagged my trio and was happy as beans … until I found out later, what I missed in the morning, has since been SOLD OUT?

Regardless, I'll be having fun with these three dudes for a bit, before I onside getting the rest (Laura from Rivet Gallery clued me into the upside-down-on-the-head-Minion being unavailable in the U.S., so that got my attention LOL). Here are some videos showcasing what they do, and please don't mind me horrid teeth ;p

I was very excited when news came out that Amakuni were making a figure of Bodacious Space Pirates' Marika Katou and my enthusiasm didn't wane when we saw the prototype back at MegaHobby Expo. Now, with Wonder Festival imminent the official show twitter account has put up a picture of the fully coloured version with the promise it'll be shown off at the event.

I have to say she's looking absolutely wonderful, and that pose pops even more with colour added. The bad news though is that the tweet also confirms she'll be a Hobby Japan exclusive, so be prepared for the buccaneers at your favourite proxy service to be boarding your wallet and stealing your loot.
