[Update] Post has been updated with clean, full page scans of the Wing Gundam Proto Zero lineart.
One of the kits that has had people begging for a couple of years is the Wing Zero. No, not the custom with wings, or Katoki's version, or the original Wing Gundam. TV series Wing Zero, the one that destroys colonies and takes over minds. It seems that Bandai has finally strapped on the ZERO System and decided to release the suit as a Master Grade. Kind of.
The scan appears courtesy of Gundam ACE, which has been running several stories on Gundam Wing. Since they have released all of the ver. Katoki minus Endless Waltz units in the MG line, Wing Zero was the last standout to not get a release. However, this won't be billed as the Wing Zero, but instead the Proto Zero. It's close enough to the original design, but done as the Proto Zero to not confuse a Katoki-rework with Okawara's TV version. As it was in the TV series, the Wing Zero was built before the 5 Gundams were and the Wing Zero was constructed by Quatre once obtaining the blueprints. This Proto Zero is most likely the suit as it was meant to be, but not all too different.
As for release info, there's none. We'll have to wait for the summer events in all likelihood to get that along with any prototype sculpts. Now that Zero appears, I'd like to see more of the Wing universe in plamo form. Here's to hoping that Heavyarms TV, Deathscythe Hell, and Altron can get in on the love too.
