Scans detail SHF Sailor Mercury & revival of Blue Rose
S.H. Figuarts belongs to the ladies this month as Bandai detailed their prototypes for two upcoming releases. One, Sailor Mercury, was only recently known. Blue Rose, on the other hand, has been M.I.A. for quite some time.
For Sailor Mercury, we're finally getting a look at her accessories and in full color. She's coming with 4 faces and her laptop/visor combo. Given that is the accessory people wanted, it's nice to see it done the right way. Sailor Mercury will come to retailers in October for ¥4,410, so expect pre-orders to be not that far around the corner.
The surprise of the month is S.H. Figuarts Blue Rose. She was last seen as part of a display in 2011. It's odd to me that this would come out, especially since Tiger & Bunny finished airing in 2011 and no new projects have been announced. In any case, fans of the series have to be pleased by the news. The heroine of Pepsi will be released in October for ¥4,725.

Paul's Custom GO-BATS Vintage Vespa Scooter Bike Inspired by the 1966 TV Series
Here's a quick update to another post we did awhile back. Check out this photo of this extremely cool Custom "GO-BATS" Vintage 1959 Vespa Scooter Bike owned by a friend of ours named Paul & inspired by the Classic 1966 Batman TV Series. He recently displayed it at the 2013 Denver Comic Con and oh man, it looks awesome! (Thanks for sharing your fun pic Paul).

MonsterArts Biollante pre-orders bloom
Bandai's S.H.MonsterArts Biollante is currently available for pre-order exclusively on the Bandai Collectors' Shop.
Biollante, Godzilla's heroic adversary from Godzilla vs. Biollante, will be the largest S.H.MonsterArts figure to date as she'll apparently stand 300mm (about little under 12-inches) which puts this gigantic plant-monster roughly to scale with previous releases. Additionally, she'll feature a light-up feature in her stomach that can change from yellow to red (the significance of which I can't recall given that it's been a decade or so since I last watched the movie). Biollante seems to feature neck articulation as well as multiple joints in each of her tendrils (including the mouths).
The Premium Bandai exclusive S.H.MonsterArts Biollante can be pre-ordered for ¥23,100 and is slated to release in November. There's currently no word as to whether this figure will receive a Western release through Bluefin Distribution.
