Here at the Bat-Blog we love to celebrate creativity in all of it's forms. So, when a friend shared this photo of his latest project he's been working on we were pretty excited!
This is our friend Nick and he has started an incredible costume based on the Classic "Batman: Gotham By Gaslight" Graphic Novel book. As soon as we saw it, we knew we had to post it!! The details are really excellent. if you have never read the original story then you owe to yourself to do so, it's really great. Plus, it's so cool that Nick would choose something so obscure. This movie has been in development so long that I kind of forgot about/gave up on it, but this trailer makes me feel all warm and tingly. It plays on nostalgia and beloved characters much like Wreck-It-Ralph, but with LEGOs instead of video games. And instead of just straight-up CG, they mix in stop-motion with actual LEGO pieces!
