[Update] Psylocke gets X-Force revision for new Bishoujo

[Update] Kotobukiya has posted the official gallery on its Facebook page. They have been added to the gallery below.

It's been a while since we last saw Psylocke in the Marvel Bishoujo line. Back in 2010, it was just the Bishoujo line and nothing but Marvel. Now in 2013, Shunya is getting back to the roots of the line with a new version of Psylocke. The announcement was made originally at Wondercon about a new version of the psychic ninja in her X-Force outfit, but now we know she looks.

The line has come a long way since her original release and those enhancements have been brought to X-Force Psylocke. Translucent hair tips and being upscaled to 1/7 is a start. Her outfit has been changed to match the black protocol of X-Force. Detail has been noted with her legs showing they're belonging to an actual human being, fleshing out of the straps. I do have to note though that I can't imagine being a female ninja assassin in that outfit, as I would no longer have a functioning left ankle.

The reveal of Marvel Bishoujo X-Force Psylocke was leaked out by Big Bad Toy Store. According to them, she'll be released this December for US$64.99. Confirmation from Kotobukiya, along with more images, should be appearing in the future. For now, you can make a pre-order and wish you had ankles like hers.

Guardian’s costume is a deceptively simple one, consisting basically in a skin-tight attire with a cowl, with a color scheme patterned after the Canadian flag. The only original piece of sculpting is the head, which is well detailed, although a little bit on the generic side of things.

OK, rounding out today's celebration of "Bat-Creativity" I knew I had to give props to an amazing Graphic Artist I came across recently named Tony Fleecs. This guy created these fake-parody book covers of some "Batman stories" Pulp Novels.

I totally love Vintage Paperbacks like this and this guy did an amazing job on making them look so real. Apparently, he is also one of the main Artists working on the new MY LITTLE PONY Comic Books, and you can see more of his wonderful artwork by clicking RIGHT HERE!

It's actually very fun to make, but I gotta warn you, these paper toys are extremely addictive... so please, be careful, ha!

When Kotobukiya first announced that Jonouchi Katsuya would be to be joining Yami Yugi (reviewed) and Seto Kaiba (reviewed) in the ArtFX J line, I was pretty ecstatic. As a fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, I felt the line was a bit incomplete without him. Thankfully, this is no longer the case since the energetic duelist has finally been released, and ready for a thorough review. But is the fan favorite, Jonouchi Katsuya, worth adding to your collection?

Danger, readers! SDCC Lost in Space Minimates sighted

Diamond Select Toys has released a comprehensive preview of their upcoming black & white Lost in Space Minimates set which will be sold at SDCC next month. This marks the first announced release for Diamond Select Toys' Lost in Space Minimates series, which was first announced at Toy Fair earlier this year and later appeared at C2E2.

This first pack will include Dr. Zachary Smith and the robot B-9. Included in the set are two alternate heads for Dr. Smith (one seems to feature a scowling face and the other looks afraid, which well-encompasses the character's mood swings) and a laser pistol.

Dr. Smith and the robot are easily the two most iconic characters from the show which makes them natural choices for a first set. The robot looks fantastic in Minimate form and one can't help but adore the various facial expressions for Dr. Smith.

The set will be available at the Diamond Select Toys booth, #2607, at a price of $10. Be sure to check out the gallery for images of the packaging, figure photos, and the concept artwork.
